Kapi Kottai's OG bestseller is back this year and it’s better than ever! These arabica naturals from Mooleh Manay estate have always been delightfully fruity in the cup, but this year, things have been upped a few notches.
The coffee has been fermented in the fruit (a dry ferment: think sourdough but coffee) and has been dried on raised beds under the watchful eyes of the folks at South India coffee company. The process is very intuitive and difficult to control, but if done right it can be an explosion of flavours in the cup. It is also an extremely eco-friendly process as no water is used at any step. As they say, the more the merrier!
The coffee has been roasted light to highlight the fruity complexity and juicy body.
